Millie

Just look at this beautiful lady! Hard to believe she’s the same sorry soul that came to us a month or so ago.

Well, she is now ready to start the search for her forever home. ❤️ Her eyes are clear of infection now and she’s healed up beautifully. She will only ever have limited sight in her one eye and none in the other.

Millie is 9 years old and found herself unloved and unwanted in a council pound. Sore infected eyes and at risk of being euthanised due to a lack of space.

Millie has a fantastic kennel based foster home but we would ideally like her to be tucked up in a home of her own before Winter sets in. The cold won’t do her pensioner joints any good!

Her forever home should be a nice quiet one where she can relax and enjoy her retirement.  Dog savvy respectful children over 10 years of age and possibly a gentle older male neutered dog after a successful introduction.

Whilst Millie has limited sight in only one eye and will bump into things, don’t let it fool you! She adapts very well and manages great. She is an absolute joy to have around and her foster Mum loves her loads. Millie is just a sweet, well behaved older girl that doesn’t ask for much. Love, good food, somewhere soft to lay her head and a special someone to give her cuddles and scratches.

Millie is located in Warrington.
